Treated Like Dirt

No one should be made to feel less than what they know they are. No one should put you down and make you feel like you aren't worth anything. I want very much to take this advise for myself, but to be totally honest, it is hard. It will be hard for anyone in such a situation. Sometimes life isn't fair and you tend to wonder things like "Why didn't I get to choose my parents?" or "Why do I feel so alone?"

You wonder why people freak over the most simplest things. Like why are some people overwhelmed with pride that they cannot be the bigger man in a situation. Why aren't people humble and forgiving? Why must they unleash wrath on you and watch you crumble beneath the flames? Sometimes you just wanna confront them and are why. Maybe just to know the reason behind all the infliction of hurt and pain, may allow you to understand just a bit more of how they feel.

I've come to the conclusion that communication is one of the most vital things in our day to day life. Without your boss instructing you on what your tasks are, you will never be aware and work will never be done. Teachers teach through speaking before a class and directing them in the right path. Parents are the first teachers in a child's life and the continuously direct their children in the right path throughout their lives. The point I am making here is that communication is important. People need to speak to one another to get issues resolved, to relay information, instill knowledge and for numerous other reasons.

So stop beating down on people and making them feel like dirt. Or if you are a victim to emotional and mental abuse, stand your ground and communicate to the individuals that they need to stop. Life is too short to be living in fear and with a self esteem that is almost non-existent. Open your eyes to the truth and live for yourself, not that you must be selfish, but think about yourself for once. Think about all the great things you could do in life, the real and talented people you could meet, the places you could travel to.

In summary, I'm not just writing all of this to bash anyone, but to empower all the suffering people out there, including myself. People run deeper than what appears on the surface, so a smile may fool you, but the heart speaks volumes.
