Oppotunities

Life opens up so many new opportunities each day, some we grasp at first glance, others we miss just because we didn't look hard enough. Once that opportunity is gone, we can no longer get it back. like the saying says "Opportunities lost can never be regained."
It may not be as easy as some may think to just grasp that chance at a good thing. Sometimes we miss that good thing because we didn't even know that it was a good thing :/ 
Most times I personally miss a good thing, I get pretty annoyed at myself for missing a thing that was right in-front of me.

Working at the college that I once attended  has both its advantages and disadvantages. Lately I've noticed that I've been a bit jealous of the current students. 

In my mind they are getting "all the good stuff" that my past generation had dreamed of. Witnessing something like this makes me think a lot deeper about my 3 years at college. If I was provided with the technology and other resources that are now available, would I have made it on the Dean's List? Would I have graduated with honors? Would I have pushed myself more to achieve such greatness? 

The answers to these questions are unknown to me and anyone reading this blog. Opportunities truly missed are lost forever. There is no going back and making things happen the way we want it to happen. They are lost for a reason and the opportunity may arise again or a new and better one may come your way.
